Clear Guidelines for a Smooth Relocation Experience

Acceptance of Terms

By engaging Shine Packers & Movers for relocation services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. These terms govern the relationship between you and our company and outline the rights and responsibilities of both parties. Please read these terms carefully before proceeding with our services. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please refrain from using our services.

Service Agreement

Shine Packers & Movers agrees to provide professional packing, moving, and transportation services as agreed upon in the service quotation or contract. We commit to using reasonable care and skill in handling your belongings and ensuring their safe transportation. The scope of services, timeline, and pricing will be clearly outlined in our quotation and confirmed before service commencement.

Customer Responsibilities

As the customer, you are responsible for providing accurate information about the items to be moved, including their quantity, nature, and any special handling requirements. You must ensure that all items are legally owned by you and are permissible for transportation. You should remove any prohibited items, valuables, and important documents before our team arrives. You are also responsible for being present or having an authorized representative present during packing, loading, and unloading.

Payment Terms

Payment terms will be clearly outlined in your service quotation. Typically, we require a portion of payment upon booking and the remaining amount upon completion of services. All payments must be made as per the agreed schedule. Late payments may attract additional charges or delay service delivery. We accept various payment methods as specified in our quotation. Any additional services requested during the move will be charged separately and must be paid for before final delivery.

Insurance and Liability

While we take utmost care in handling your belongings, certain risks are inherent in the relocation process. We offer transit insurance options to protect your items against damage or loss during transportation. The extent of coverage and claim procedures will be explained in our insurance documentation. Our liability is limited as per the terms of the insurance policy and applicable laws. We are not liable for damage to items packed by the customer unless our team was specifically hired for packing services.

Prohibited Items

We do not transport hazardous materials, flammable items, explosives, corrosive substances, perishable goods, plants, pets, or illegal substances. Additionally, we recommend that you personally transport valuables such as jewelry, cash, important documents, and sensitive electronic devices. If any prohibited items are discovered during the move, we reserve the right to refuse transportation of such items without liability.

Service Modifications and Cancellations

If you need to modify or cancel your moving service, please provide us with at least 48 hours' notice. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled service may attract cancellation charges. Changes to the moving date or service scope may be accommodated based on availability and may require additional charges. We reserve the right to modify or cancel services due to unforeseen circumstances such as extreme weather conditions, road closures, or other force majeure events.

Access and Premises

You must ensure that our team has proper access to both the origin and destination locations during the agreed time slots. This includes parking space for our vehicles, clear pathways for moving items, and necessary permissions from building management if applicable. Any delays or additional costs incurred due to access issues will be charged to the customer. You are responsible for obtaining any required permits or permissions for moving items in and out of your premises.

Claims and Disputes

Any claims for damage or loss must be reported in writing within 24 hours of delivery. We will investigate all claims promptly and fairly. Disputes will be resolved through mutual discussion and, if necessary, through legal channels as per applicable laws. The jurisdiction for any legal proceedings will be the courts where our registered office is located. We maintain detailed records of all services provided and may use these as evidence in case of disputes.

Force Majeure

Shine Packers & Movers shall not be liable for any delay, failure, or interruption in service due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, acts of terrorism, war, civil unrest, government actions, strikes, labor disputes, or extreme weather conditions. In such cases, we will make reasonable efforts to resume services as soon as practicable and keep you informed of any delays.

Termination of Service

We reserve the right to terminate services if the customer engages in abusive behavior, provides false information, or violates any terms of this agreement. In such cases, the customer will be liable for payment for services already rendered and any additional costs incurred. Similarly, you may terminate services if we fail to meet our obligations, subject to payment for services already provided.

Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Telangana. We comply with all applicable laws and regulations governing the relocation and transportation industry in India.
